About IECEx System

IECEx System, an internationl certification system for explosion-proof electrical products, was established in 1996. The objective of the IECEx System is to establish the internationl certification system for explosion-proof electrical products, to reduce the repetitive test and experiment in different countries so as to facilitate international trade. The final aim is to achieve the unified standard (IEC standard), unified certificate(IECEx Certificate of Conformity)and unified mark (IECEx Mark of Conformity) applied to the explosion-proof electrical products worldwide. There are three certification schemes for IECEx system, including IECEx Certified Equipment Scheme, IECEx Certified Service Facilities Scheme and IECEx Certification of Personnel Competencies (CoPC).

Up to now, there are 23 participating countries in IQNet involved with the major industrial countries, such as Europe, America and Australia, and with Russia, Japan and Korea as well. As China is one of the participating countries for IECEx System, CNCA (Certification and Accreditation Adiminstration) participates in this System on behalf of the State.

Recommended by CNCA and received IECEx peer assessment, CQM has become the only one ExCB (the certification body accredited by IECEx System) in China in Oct., 2005. CQM, with its signed ExTL (the testing laboratories accredited by IECEx System) may provide the enterprises of explosion-proof electrical products with the international certification and testing services.
