Since being approved by the former China State
Bureau of Technical Supervision (CSBTS) in Sept.1991,
CQM certification has been developing its scopes
continuously from the initial voluntary product
certification, presently involving industry,
agriculture, traffic and transportation, commerce,
service industry, information industry etc.
About 80 inspection and testing laboratories
accredited by the state have signed contracts
with CQM and taken inspection tasks of product
certification. The certification evaluation
system of CQM involves GB/T 19001 certification,
GB/T 24001 certification, GB/T 28001 certification,
HACCP certification and product certification.
CQM
has formed a good image in the certification
field both home and abroad with its scrupulous
work and excellent service. Being widely recognized
by international partners, CQM has been a formal
member of IQNet (International Certification
Network) consisted of 36 certification bodies
from 34 countries and regions. Meanwhile, CQM
has had good cooperation and mutual-recognizing
collaboration with many well-known international
certification bodies, such as JQA from Japan,
KFQ from R. Korea, DQS from Germany, IAPMO&T
from the US, etc. Thus the organizations certified
by CQM may apply for one or several certificates
or the Equivalence Statement from those certification
bodies abroad without repeated audit.

Please be informed that the first two digits
of the Registration Number in the certificate
represent the code of our certification body
(i.e. CQM) distributed by national accreditation
body, which was "19" in old version
certificate issued before Jan. 1, 2004, and
"02" since Jan. 1, 2004.
For the old version certificates, we have
switched them into the new version with the
CQM code "02" in paper media since
Jan. 1st 2004. But for the published information
on CQM website, the code of CQM of the registration
number still remains unchanged ( i.e. "19")
since our computer system is still under construction.
Therefore we hereby clarify that the code of
CQM in paper media "02" is completely
equivalent to the code "19" published
on CQM website.
